Dena Hope’s blend of synth-pop, new wave, and indie rock influence illustrate her broad range of appeal. Her sultry vocals mixed with powerhouse belting showcase a range of vocal styling and emotion. The debut EP, “In Transit,” was produced by local guitarist and songwriter Don Cento (Ume, Sarah Jaffe) Cento brought in hard-hitting rhythm players Aaron Perez (Ume, Lowin, Yukon Gold) and Bryan Richie (The Sword, Yukon Gold, Galactic Protector) to round out the sound. Danny Reisch, mastermind engineer and producer, elevated the tracks and finalized the mix at his beautiful studio in Lockhart, TX - Good Danny’s.
